Anthony Masciotra joined UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) in April, 2007 and is responsible for leading the group through its transition from the former University Physician Associates, a practice billing service, to the current UNMMG. UNMMG is a physician practice plan supporting
765 clinical doctors within the University of New Mexico’s School of Medicine.
As Executive Director, Senior Vice President, Operations and CFO, Mr. Masciotra established UNMMG as a separate 501c3 corporation from the UNM Health Sciences Center. Mr. Masciotra is responsible for strategy, finance and growth associated with all aspects of the practice plan including integration with the UNM Hospitals, UNM Cancer Center and all other clinical enterprises of the UNM Health Sciences Center.
Mr. Masciotra serves on the board of directors for Casa Esperanza, a home away from home, for patients suffering from cancer. Prior to joining UNM, Mr. Masciotra worked for the UNM Cancer Center, Lovelace Health Systems, Cigna Healthcare, Baystate Health Systems and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Masciotra is a CPA with a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Business Administration from the UNM Anderson School of Management. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Medical Group Management Association and the Association of Practice Plan Directors of the Association of American Medical Colleges as well as, a Fellow, in the Hospital Financial Management Association.

Kathleen Hall Christ, AVP of the Office of Clinical Contract Services enjoys over 25 years of healthcare experience including managed care administration and provider consulting. Prior to joining UNM Medical Group, Ms. Christ served as Principal of Paladin Managed Care Consulting. Prior to founding Paladin Managed Care Consulting, Ms. Christ served as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s east region health care consulting practice. She has also served as Vice President of a national managed care organization and Manager in the Consulting Services Division of Voluntary Hospitals of America.
Ms. Christ received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hawaii and her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida.
Ms. Christ is married with one child.
Dr. Robert Fritch, Medical Director
Dr. Fritch received his DO degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his Family Practice Residency in Detroit, Michigan. A native of southern Colorado, he returned to the southwest after residency to work in northern New Mexico until he joined UNM Health Sciences in 2005. He is currently serving as Senior VP-Clinical Operations and Medical Director for the UNM Medical Group. He also serves as Associate Executive Medical Director Ambulatory Outpatient Primary Care Medicine for University of New Mexico Hospitals. Dr. Fritch is board certified in Family Practice, Addiction Medicine, holds a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Occupational Medicine and obtained a Masters of Medical Management from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Beth Fingado, Asst. V.P. - Quality & Clinical Process Improvement (505) 272-8635
Beth Fingado joined UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) in April, 2007 and is responsible for leading the Quality and Clinical Process Improvement Group. In that capacity, she is responsible for overseeing large-scale process improvement projects within the clinical enterprise, tracking quality performance of the providers in the medical group, and analyzing clinical practice. She serves as a best practice consultant with extensive training from Institute for Healthcare Improvement, University Health Consortium and Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Beth also oversees the panel management function within the UNM Health Sciences Center and a large warehouse of decision support tools. Prior to employment with UNMMG, Beth worked at the UNM Health Sciences Center; first as a medical technologist in the UNM Hospital Clinical Laboratory, then as a member of the hospital quality team, followed by a position as director of Process Improvement and Decision Support.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She is a trained facilitator and holds a national certification as a Lean Sensei with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers/ Shingo Prize. She has had training in various programming languages and software/ systems applications. Beth is currently a member of MGMA, and serves on the New Mexico Quality Awards Board of Examiners.

Denita Richards, Interim Director - Practice Operations, (505) 925-7756
Denita Richards has 20 years of healthcare experience in rural primary care, managed care administration, and independent consulting. Denita joined the UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) in September, 2008 as the Director of Locum Tenens and Specialty Extension Services. She is responsible for recruiting and placing healthcare providers throughout the state of New Mexico, with a special focus on rural communities. She is currently assuming the role of Interim Director of Ambulatory Practice Operations for UNMMG.
Denita began her career as a registered nurse in Intensive Care and Telemetry. She developed a passion for providing healthcare in rural and frontier communities while serving as a clinic administrator, health educator, and Director of Clinical Affairs with Presbyterian Medical Services. She gained an extensive background in administering primary care and dental programs, accreditation, risk management, and credentialing/re-credentialing.
Denita has also managed Medicare and Medicaid programs at Lovelace Health Plan and United Healthcare. She served as a consultant, assisting the State of New Mexico in developing an enrollment structure for the State Coverage Insurance Program. Denita graduated from New Mexico State University with degrees in Nursing and Human and Community Services.
Marjorie Goldstein, V.P. - Financial Planning, (505) 272-3558
Marjorie Goldstein successfully led the effort to finance Sandoval County’s first teaching hospital, UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center, in her capacity as Vice President of Financial Planning for UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) – a 765 clinical medical group within the UNM Health Sciences Center. Ms. Goldstein oversees all financial planning and analysis activities related to new UNMMG business endeavors. With an accounting degree from Pennsylvania State University and a public accounting background, Ms. Goldstein has managed many aspects of accounting and finance in other NM healthcare organizations such as UNM Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, St. Vincent Hospital, and Sun Healthcare Group.
Ms. Goldstein serves on the board of directors for NM Cancer Care Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing New Mexico cancer patients with access to the latest experimental treatments available and information developed through cancer research studies. Previously, Ms. Goldstein has served on the UNM Conflict of Interest Committee, Jewish Federation of Greater Albuquerque Allocation Committee, YWCA of Middle Rio Grande Finance Committee and Congregation Keshet Shalom’s Executive Committee in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Ms. Goldstein is in a committed relationship and has two daughters, Sarah and Rachel. She plays tennis, participates in a book and movie group, is a sports enthusiast and enjoys cooking when time permits.

Kim Hedrick is known for her community service and commitment to improving access to healthcare services. She is employed by UNM Medical Group, Inc., a
765 clinical doctor faculty group whose vision is to be a national leader in the delivery of high quality and innovative academic medicine.
Kim recently served as interim administrator for the new UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center -- Rio Rancho’s first teaching hospital. Prior to joining UNM Medical Group, Kim was employed by Presbyterian Healthcare Services for 19 years with business development responsibilities in the Greater Albuquerque four-county area and Santa Fe. Kim was instrumental in getting Presbyterian’s new Rio Rancho hospital project started.
Currently, Kim is the vice president of strategic business development for UNMMG with responsibilities for strategic planning, business development and marketing.
Kim has her Master’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University and an executive MBA from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Business.
Kim is an active board member in Quality New Mexico, Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation, Rio Rancho Community Foundation and serves as the Sandoval County representative to the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District PIC. Previously Kim chaired the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce board of directors and held the offices of president for Rio Rancho Rotary, vice president for Haven House, a domestic violence shelter, and board member for the Community Involvement Committee of Greater Albuquerque United Way.

Robert Stewart is the Director of Information Technology. He began his technical career more than 19 years ago based largely in education to include The University of Notre Dame. Later he migrated to health care and worked at Memorial Health System in South Bend Indiana, and The South Bend Clinic of South Bend Indiana before coming to the University of New Mexico in 2011.
Robert has an MBA from Ashford University, a Master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Ball State University, and a Masters of Jurisprudence focused in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago’s Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy.
Robert enjoys the sunny New Mexico climate, mountains, and is an avid golfer.

Lynn Ribble is currently the AVP, Human Resources for the UNM Medical Group, Inc. and is also serving as the interim Vice President, Human Resources for the Sandoval Regional Medical Center. Lynn has over 30 years of experience working in all functional areas of human resources in corporate management positions and as a consultant specializing in compensation in a wide variety of industries throughout the United States. She earned a Masters degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) and as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

Susan is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years experience providing overall leadership for financial management within academic medical centers, faculty practice plans and healthcare systems. As Vice President, Business Operations for the UNM Medical Group, Inc., she is responsible for creating and promoting an environment of strong leadership and direction for the medical group’s revenue cycle operations. Susan successfully ensures revenue management functions are aligned and optimized to meet or exceed organizational goals for UNM’s 500-physician medical group practice.
